Helambu Earthquake Relief

Location- Helambu, Sindhupalchowk

It was sad to actually go and see the people on Sindhupalchowk District of Baruwa VDC in person then spoken. The roads were destroyed and as well as all the houses. Folk Nepal as promised reached in Baruwa on 11th May,2015 to distribute the relief supplies containing 4200 kg of rice, 300 kg of lentils,100 packets of salt,6 sacks of peas, 2 sacks of bitten rice,a box of sweet and some snacks to Sindhupalchowk District, Baruwa VDC.

We have also included 4 sets of proper toilet making equipment for the better health and sanitation to the villagers which was dispatched on 10th May from Kathmandu. People seemed to be slowly gaining hope on their normal life as life is still difficult out there. We thoroughly investigated the health post, schools and damaged asset on village and organized a program between the villagers and army personnel.
